Weekend Links: 01

Weekend Links | Curated Couple

We’ve been living with mountains of boxes, rifling through them each time we need something. So, this weekend is all about unpacking and finding homes for our belongings! Other than that, we have a few home improvement projects to tackle, a chic ceiling fan to buy (do those even exist?!), meals to cook on the grill, and bike trails to explore around our new neighborhood. We hope you have a fun weekend!

1 – How IKEA changes its catalog for different countries.

2 – California retailer Fred Segal launched a collaboration with CB2 for a midcentury-meets-coastal collection. This chair is one of the best pieces from the collection.

3 – Labor Day weekend is just around the corner! If you’re itching to plan something, but would rather not spend the requisite money for travel, try a satisfying staycation.

4 – Our current mailbox is rusting and sitting on the porch rather than being mounted to the house. Finding a new one was on my to-do list for the first week we owned the house, but it’s surprisingly difficult to find a pretty one. Over a month later, I think we found it! (I’m crazy about the black and white version.)

5 – The best plants for every room in your house.

6 – A simple feta and tomato galette is perfect for a late-summer dinner.

7 – The teal Le Creuset collection is absolutely stunning, plus just think of how good your fall meals will look in them!

8 – With bold patterned wallpaper and rich blue hues, this house is serving as major design inspiration for our place.

9 – Looking to purchase your first home? Here’s a glossary of terms you’ll hear on repeat. (I didn’t know what “points” referred to before we started the process!)

10 – Tastemakers share their favorite books to give as gifts.
